At our meeting held November 12, 2025 the Chicora Independent Hose Company reached a decision to cease rental of the “Social Hall’ at the Chicora Fire Station to the general public as of January 1, 2026 and to return the hall to its original intent, that of a meeting and training room for department functions.

The hall will remain available for rental for funeral luncheons/dinners, to members in good standing of the Chicora Independent Hose Company, and to governmental and community organizations as approved by the department.

All hall rental reservations for dates in 2026 made by individuals prior to November 12, 2025 will be honored, but no further reservations will be taken for rental of the hall by the general public.
