“As first responders to fires, disasters, and public safety emergencies, members of Chicora Volunteer Fire Department, Station 26 protect the lives and property of residents and visitors of Chicora and its surrounding communities.  We strive to protect and support the area by providing outstanding service in the areas of fire suppression, disaster relief and preparedness, emergency response, member training, fire prevention, public education, mutual aid, and charitable community service.”
